Saba Qamar was born on April 5, 1984 in Hyderabad, a city in the Sindh province of Pakistan. The current age of Saba Qamar is 40 years. Her father's name is Mr, Zaman. She has five siblings, three older and one younger brother who died on 15 November 2022. She also has an elder sister. Saba Qamar lost her father at a very young age and spent most of her childhood with her grandmother in Gujranwala. 

Saba Qamar belongs to a Sayyed family who believe in the preservation of old traditions. After the death of her father, she went to her mother. Saba Qamar's elder sister is her last support. She told in an interview that both her mother and sister are really good cooks. All the women in their family cook really delicious food. Although she likes her house clean, she does not like to cook or do housework.

Both mother and sister of Saba Qamar do not like to join him in the interview. Saba Qamar also said that her mother is suffering from hepatitis C, Saba Qamar makes every possible effort for her recovery. She has also worked as a host and comedian on a news channel Hum Sabb Omid Se Hain 2009–2015. In 2019, Saba Qamar worked with Bilal Abbas Khan in the crime drama Cheekh. The play was considered both a critical and commercial blockbuster.

In 2021, Saba Qamar played the role of Naheed Ahmed Tasneem in the telefilm Hangur aired on ARY Digital. She was then chosen as a model for Abrar-ul-Haq and Mustafa Zahid's music videos Begum Shak and Chingariyaan. In 2022, Saba Qamar made her film comeback after five years with Sarmad Khost's Kamli and Saqib Khan's Ghabrana Nahi Hai. Saba Qamar received several awards for Kamli including IVIF and Lux ​​Style Awards for Best Film Actress. She then appeared as a model in Asim Azhar's music video Kabhi Mein Kabhi Tum Mein alongside Fahad Mustafa.
