Shahid Afridi (Boom Boom Lala) fascinating life style

Shahid Khan Afridi was born on March 1, 1977 in an Afridi tribe of Pashtuns in Khyber Agency. His current age is 47 years and he is living in the developed city of Karachi, Pakistan. Shahid Afridi's father's name is Sahibzada Fazlur Rehman Afridi. He has two brothers, one of whom is Ashfaq Afridi and the other brother is Tariq Afridi. His family belongs to the religion of Islam. Shahid Afridi weight is 70 kg and his height is 5 feet 10 inches.

Shahid Khan Afridi is a Pakistani former cricketer and has also been the captain of the Pakistan national cricket team. Shahid Khan Afridi was an all-rounder, Afridi was a right-arm leg-spinner and a right-arm batsman.

He belongs to a family of Sufi companions (teachers or spiritual masters) and his grandfather Maulana Muhammad Ilyas was a famous spiritual figure in Bhutan Sharif, a region of Tirah Valley. His second grandfather, Sahibzada Abdul Baqi, was awarded the title of Ghazi Kashmir (Conqueror of Kashmir) for his efforts during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1947-1948.

Shahid Khan Afridi has six brothers, including fellow cricketers Tariq Afridi and Ashfaq Afridi, and five sisters. He is the fifth oldest of his siblings. He is married to his maternal cousin Nadia Afridi and has five daughters. Shahid khan Afridi announced his daughter Insha Afridi engagement to cricketer Shaheen shah Afridi,in February 2023. He credits his uncle, a colonel in the Pakistan Army, with introducing him to sports in general and cricket in particular. Shahid Khan Afridi has said that he was inspired by stories about Imran Khan's captaincy during the 1992 Cricket World Cup and admired his cricket in the 1992 World Cup and taught him to never be afraid of failure.

According to records, Shahid Afridi, who debuted at the age of 16, claimed in his autobiography 'Game Changer' that he was born in 1975. Also, for the record, he was only nineteen, not sixteen as he claims I was born in 1975. So the authorities got my age wrong", he wrote in his book. Although this would cause confusion as if he was born in 1975, it would mean he was 21 years old at the time of his debut.

Shahid Afridi  Later clarified that the first edition of his biography had written the wrong year and confirmed that his year of birth was 1977. Shahid Afridi's claims caused further controversy as it would have meant that  Afghan batsman Usman Ghani has scored the youngest century in ODI cricket, which is currently held by Shahid Afridi.

Todays now Pakistan’s all-rounder Shahid Afridi has been appointed as the private news channel named Samaa TV’s ‘Director Sports’. Afridi, who has joined Samaa TV for the new role, is keen on supporting local talent in Pakistan through the channel. I am lucky to be on a platform where i can promote the future heroes of Pakistan. He said that talent in pakistan is not limited to cricket only, there are players in other sports too who can shine for the country if we give them necessary support.
